What started as an online side-business in 2008, Neo Vintage Decor, Inc. quickly grew into a brick and mortar retail stop.   The showroom opened on Melrose Av. in late 2011 to designers, private clients and celebrity clients, then opened to the public in Spring 2012.  This business venture is the culmination of inate passion and skills honed from a professional career spanning 20 years in retail, merchandising, advertising/marketing, finance and commercial production.

 

Chief Design Officer and owner, Shawn Meaux, is a self-taught decorator & event planner with a great eye, a passion for amazing design and an appreciation for vintage furniture.  After winning an Architectural Digest Contest for Creative Use of Fabric in 2010, he started designing/decorating for residential and commercial clients and a design business quickly flourished.  He describes his style as "neo-vintage," and loves mixing different styles from different periods to achieve a personal, well-traveled look that feels like it has been collected over time.
